Squawkers McCaw Talking Parrot Reviews

This is a fantastic toy,
i went around my friends and heard it,
I thought it was real.
I went into the room and said hello and it talked back.
Its not that much in money and would be my top Christmas prezzie on my list.
I love this,
I recommend 5 stars!

This was a present last Christmas and is still regularly played with now (July). It looks and moves quite realistically (for example responding when you stroke it's beak) and is a talking point when people visit, especially as it repeats phrases they say (and makes rude noises at inopportune moments, which children find very funny for some reason). Quite an expensive gift, but seems to have lasting value and appeal.

This has just GOT to be one of the most exciting Electronic Pets that has ever come out - particularly in this ridiculously 'cheap' price range! I cannot understand a previous comment which grumbles at the cost since it is only a few years' back that an Electronic Pet like this, and as 'accomplished' would have cost hundreds of pounds...

A previous Reviewer has quite rightly said that if one is caught off guard, one can be forgiven for thinking on first sight/encounter, that this is a real Parrot! The movements are tremendously life-like, and the bird 'communicates' in a way I've seen no other robotic pet do. (excepting perhaps the 'Aibo' which is well out of the ordinary person's price range)

This bird can respond to commands and questions, and also is most unpredictable - particularly with what you teach it to say (which can become quite embarrassing for those who teach it to say the wrong things in company, and so beware!)

When I ordered mine, I didn't really know what to expect. I'd previously had the Texta Parrot 'Polly' (see my review for that Item - as 'a customer') and was well-chuffed - until now that is! (I guess my poor old 'Poncho' and 'Chulip' are now going to be lacking some attention with this super big bird around!)

I would certainly recommend this to anyone - young or old, and also for those who are unable to have pets for various reasons - sounds a bit sad I know, but wait until you get it before you judge!

I thought this was rather easy to operate - but then I'm not a child (at least not in the real sense of the word!) and I got mine up and running in a relatively short time. It comes with batteries which are for demonstration purposes only, and so DO NOT immediately assume that you have a faulty bird if it does not respond when he arrives; I have found (and have heard from others too) that many are arriving with the 'demo' button clicked 'off', which leads people to believe they are faulty, or the batteries are weak/dead, and so think carefully BEFORE packing back up and returning him!

This Item is extremely well-packed for transit purposes and so is highly unlikely to get damaged in that way. The only downside to this is; the box is so beautifully designed you will want to keep it - but you can't - you won't be able to because it has to be almost completely destroyed in order to get it open, and to get at your bird! I guess at least that is a good thing in that you know when you buy one it has not been 'used' and returned.

Super! Go buy it - they may not be around for very long!!

DEFINITELY FIVE HUNDRED STARS FROM ME!

Biscuit my lovin pup

It is unbelievable! This pup seems so real!

This lovable doggie features voice recognition, obeying six commands, including, “Sit!”, “Speak!” and “Lie down!” Tell your furry friend to give you his paw and he’ll raise his right or left paw. Ask him if he wants a treat, and he’ll nod and whimper to let you know he’s ready for his dog “bone”. BISCUIT MY LOVIN’ PUP pet will even “shake” at your command, lifting his paw to your hand—or sit up and beg – just like a real pup! Feed him his dog “bone” and he’ll sniff it before “chomping” away on it. Moving his head and ears and even blinking his eyes, this sweet sidekick is sure to become your new best friend. Smores Pony Reviews

Fur Real Friends Smores Pony

love this pony i got it for my 3 yrs olds birthday and she loves it she plays with it everyday its just like a real pony

My daughter just loves all stuffed animals and went on her first Real Live Pony rides already even though she just turned one. This is so perfect for her to love, learn and grow with.

She instantly took to Smores the moment she looked at the pony. She grabbed the brush and started to groom Smores' Mane. She learned she can feed the carrot to the Pony too. This pony acts like a real pony and responds to my daughter petting her.

Great teaching tool to teach children to care for their own pet (without the mess). She just loves Smores and I would highly recommend this pony to anyone who has a little girl or who is a little girl at heart.

My daughter is only 5 months, but my mom bought this for her for christmas, I want her to become familiar with horses at a young age and thought this was perfect to help out. It couldn't be more real! We sit her on it (holding her of course) and she laughs when it makes the walking sound. She loves it, of course she is to young to get good use of it yet, but I am so pleased with this product. Everyone oohhhed & ahhhed over it "even saying it looks like something you would see at disney world". My only downfall is I am afraid other kids or even adults are going to break it as everyone is so entrigued by it and it is pricey! So i sometimes fell like I have to babysit the horse when other are around.

Cute, furry.
* Interactive -- responds when brushed, fed, (maybe?) noise, and when the younguns sit on it.

I bought S'mores for my 5 year old. She has stated that if it was the only thing she got from Santa Claus that was enough for her.

Oh my! I love SMORES. she moves her head and eats carrots. my favorite part is sit on her and she will make galloping noises. WE LOVE smores!!

my three year old has so much fun brushing its hair.=-)
